I. Overview:

　　According to the People’s Republic of China petroleum and natural gas industry standard SYT 7329-2016, “Method for Determining Organic Chlorine Content in Oilfield Chemicals,” the organic chlorine extraction process requires multiple injections of toluene. Toluene is a colorless, highly volatile liquid; inhalation of large amounts can damage the nervous system. Moreover, manual operation is not only time‑consuming and labor‑intensive but also susceptible to human error, leading to unstable extraction efficiency and accuracy.

　　Guided by a people‑centered approach and taking into account the need to enhance the efficiency and quality of product inspection and testing, reduce labor costs and risks, meet environmental protection requirements, and promote technological innovation and industrial upgrading, the Oilfield Chemicals Product Quality Supervision and Inspection Station of the Xinjiang Oilfield Experimental Testing Research Institute, in 2024, collaborated with our company to develop an automated organic chlorine extraction system, which was successfully completed.

　　The device has currently been successfully deployed at the Xinjiang Oilfield Supervision Center and the Dagang Oilfield Supervision and Testing Center.

　　II. Equipment Functions:

　　1. Automate the entire process, from toluene injection to the completion of the sixth centrifugation.

　　2. Implement separate collection of liquid and solid waste;

　　3. The daily sample throughput shall be no fewer than 24 samples, with a total processing time of less than 8 hours.

　　4. Ensure health, safety, and environmental protection: Provide ventilation throughout the entire process to exhaust fumes, and equip the facility with a fixed toluene detector.

　　5. All fluid-contacting components are free of organochlorine compounds;

　　6. Equipped with a real-time video surveillance system.
