The interfacial gas channeling tester is used to simulate and measure the breakthrough pressure and gas channeling pathway of gas in porous media. Its main applications include: evaluation of caprock sealing in oil and gas engineering (such as shale gas reservoirs); risk analysis of gas leakage in geological CO₂ sequestration; and airtightness testing of concrete/bentonite barrier in civil engineering materials.
