Product Description
As oil field exploitation deepens, the difficulty of crude oil extraction increases, along with issues such as wastewater discharge and oil field environmental pollution. To address these problems, improved oil recovery (IOR) technology has gradually become an important means of oil field development. IOR technology mainly improves crude oil recovery and reduces wastewater discharge by altering the difference in relative permeability between oil and water in the reservoir, thereby protecting the oil field environment. However, traditional IOR technologies struggle to meet the growing development needs, thus necessitating new technological means to enhance IOR effectiveness.
Polymer microspheres are a novel IOR material. By adjusting parameters such as size, shape, and surface properties, they can regulate permeability distribution, achieving oil-water separation. Polymer microspheres are attracting considerable attention in oil field development due to their good controllability, low usage, and environmentally friendly nature.
