1. Overview
The specific surface area is an important index of the dispersion medium or the thickness of the rock, and many physical and chemical phenomena are related to the dispersion of the object. Therefore, the specific surface area is an important index to study the properties of the dispersion medium (such as cement and other substances) and the adsorption characteristics of the rock.
It is mainly composed of a clamp, a differential pressure gauge and a pump. By discharging the negative pressure formed by the water in the pump, the pressure gauge will show the liquid level difference, and the specific surface of the rock sample can be calculated by the formula through the liquid level difference.
