Most modern petroleum instruments and equipment use microcomputer technology to provide intelligent and friendly interfaces, which means that a large number of electronic components, large-scale ultra-large-scale integrated chips, relays, stepper motors and mechanical equipment are connected. We know that the more components and modules are separated, the lower the overall reliability and the higher the failure rate of the instrument. Good products should have reliability design when designing, and use high-quality, long-life and aged devices as much as possible. Good instruments also have automatic protection functions (such as overload protection, etc.). At the same time, instruments should pass perfect reliability tests before leaving the factory, mainly through strict environmental stress tests, in particular, the effective environmental stress tests applied to products are: random vibration, sweeping frequency, salt spray test and temperature cycling.
It is understood that some foreign manufacturers have subjected each instrument and equipment produced by them to random vibration tests above 2g (acceleration of gravity). In the frequency sweep test, corresponding vibration tests are added according to the actual resonance point of the instrument and equipment according to different use requirements. Through the above harsh tests, failures caused by potential manufacturing defects can be avoided,
Therefore, the use of such petroleum equipment operators can be assured of regular movement and on-site calibration, the user does not have to the instrument data often doubt, and peak low efficiency. Due to the above reasons, when purchasing large-scale instruments and equipment, it is necessary to conduct on-site second-party review on suppliers under conditional conditions, and through on-the-spot investigation on the manufacturer's design, production, storage and transportation, factory inspection and other links, especially to understand the reliability of the instrument (such as asking whether it carries out reliability design, test and management, and whether it can provide indicators such as mean time to failure of the instrument and equipment), it will have a multiplier effect on the purchase of instruments and equipment.
